Thanks for the comment! I have been reading your blog for about a week or so, and I really love it. I am excited about your half marathon, and even though you're dissapointed, just know that I couldn't do that right now if my life depended on it. But you are an inspiration to me. Thanks!

BTW, I also go by Military Mom, on my other blog-http://cocoanutcove.blogspot.com

Thanks so much for the mention of The Cranky Middle Manager Show. Every week we have a quote from the past which reminds us 1) not that much has really changed in the last, oh, couple of hundred years and 2) There are plenty of people smarter than us we can learn from.

Good luck with your training....best of luck and don't let the weasels get you down.

Hi Theresa - Yikes, sounds painful. I posted a link to a talk called: Does Pain and Fear Burry You or Inspire You? on my blog today - sounds like something you may be interested in!

Doubling your distance can seem daunting and horrifying, but once you start getting your crazy long miles in- you will build up your confidence again. And hopefully the weather will be cooperative and everything will just be terrif!
